Back in 1979, somewhere in Middletown New York, a morning DJ for a well known radio station, K104, got together with three neighborhood musician friends and began jamming in a house located, where else, but on Harrison Street.  That Morning Man was Jon Lemieux.  The flavor of the band revolved around the best rock music that ever was.  Influences such as Steely Dan, The Beatles, The Eagles, James Gang, Cream, Led Zeppelin, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Tom Petty, Bruce Sringsteen, etc., began shaping the future sound of Harrison Street Band.

Through the years, the original members of Harrison Street Band moved on to other projects. It was this evolution that  brought the phenomenal talents of keyboardist Michael Gonzalez, the unique style of bassist Joe Marra, and the rich rhythms of drummer Larry "The King" Lubkert together with Jon Lemieux circa 2008.  In 2012, Jon Lemieux had the revelation to reintroduce Harrison Street Band to the music scene with this powerful line up, showcasing all the best classic rock and blues tunes, fully knowing that the product would be nothing less than stellar.

Each member of Harrison Street Band has their own unique vocal style which enables the band to visit various areas of the classic rock era and a wide variety of music, as well as contribute exceptional harmonies which compliment each others sounds.

​

 In 2016, Jon, Joe and Mike have had the extreme pleasure of having Larry Lubkert and one of the original Harrison Street Band Drummers, Ralph Edwards, as well as Greg Piller grace the drum throne for various performances, each lending their own style to the many classic rock and blues tunes in Harrison Street Band's catalogue.

Harrison Street Band delivers classic rock and blues from the 70's through the 90's, with some very special surprises as well.  They have been known to delve back into the 40s, 50s, and 60s, and the Motown Sound, rocking out some golden oldies and swinging standards as only Harrison Street Band can.

Harrison Street Band has only one goal in mind with each performance and that is to bring their best to the stage to ensure one hell of a party and a great time for all !!!
